biography
Lynn was born in East Anglia. She studied for five years in Edinburgh gaining an MA in Art History and Philosophy from Edinburgh University and a Fine Art Diploma from Edinburgh College of Art.
After graduating she supported herself as an artist by working as a freelance journalist. For two years she was Features Editor on 'Vanity Fair' magazine and published a novel 'The Glass House' (Piatkus Books). She taught Life Drawing and History of Art at Hornsey College of Art and later became a Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University. Since 1990 she has been a tutor on the Arts Faculty of the Open University.

Since 1993, Lynn has lived mainly in Normandy where she exhibits annually as well as in the UK. She has won the Prix de Portbail (Professional Category) on five occasions and her work can be seen at the Drak' Art Gallery in Barfleur.
